It's hard to believe it, but it was TEN years ago today that Hadleigh was born! She's closer to teenage hood & college than birth at this point...how crazy is that!?
Here is Hadleigh just after her first birthday...
& here she is just before her tenth!...
As is our tradition, we woke up early (you can tell how early by the horrible lighting!) so Hadleigh could open gifts and we could sing to her and have a cinnamon roll breakfast (she also requested bacon, eggs, and eggnog).
After school, I took Hadleigh on a mother-daughter date which started off with her first eyebrow threading (if you haven't tried it, you should. It hurts way less than waxing and lasts way longer). Here are the before & after pics...
Next, we went to Coldstone for some birthday ice cream. Hadleigh also got in her reading homework, since it was a school night.
After ice cream, we went to get pedicures at a nail place by our house. As a surprise, Hadleigh's best friend Emma & her mom, April, joined us. We were having so much fun, I forgot to take pictures...oops!
After pedicures, we picked up the boys (aka the rest of our family) and went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner. Scott's parents and his brother's family joined us there.
