We had a really eventful and fun Easter this year. It was Jackson's first Easter so he didn't really know what to make of the basket full of goodies, but Hadleigh and Landon had no problem tearing through theirs!

After seeing what the Easter Bunny left for us in the morning, the kids got to put on their new Easter clothes and we went to church.
After church, Scott's mom and siblings (we missed you Grandpa Kent!) came over to our house for dinner and then the kids did an Easter egg hunt and dyed eggs. Since I made dinner, Scott's mom planned and coordinated all of the activities. It was especially fun for the kids to find presents like puzzles, books, and chalk along with the hidden eggs. Thank you Grandma!

Every time Landon would find an egg he would have to open and inspect it before he could move on to look for more:)
We finished the night by watching a 5 minute video on YouTube that had words from Elder Holland's (of the LDS Church) most recent General Conference talk with images from the Lamb of God movie. It was a good way to finish the night and to remind us all that honoring Jesus' Atonement and Resurrection is the real reason we celebrate Easter.
