Easter 2012

This Easter we woke up to find that the Easter Bunny had come in the night and left baskets full of goodies for each of the kids. 

Jackson was excited to find a green Power Ranger toy, Hadleigh was happy to get a pair of high heels, and Landon was thrilled about two new Monster Truck toys. Mason wasn't awake yet, but later he thoroughly enjoyed all the the baby snacks that his basket was filled with.

My mom was so nice to pick out and send a special Easter outfit for each of the kids to wear to church. Everyone coordinated so well and looked completely adorable! Bearing in mind that getting all four kids to smile and look at the camera at the same time is essentially impossible, here are some of my favorite pics.

After church, the boys changed into their new Easter pajamas and all three of the older kids got to decorate Easter eggs (again thanks to my mom and a fun kit she sent us)! They had a really fun time and made some very cute and creative eggs. 

  

  

While the kids were decorating the eggs, Scott put plastic candy-filled eggs all around our yard for the kids to go out and find. A storm was starting to blow in by the time they got outside so it was a little windy and cold, but that didn't seem to deter them. (Don't mind our yellow grass, it's been cold and rainy so much that we haven't even turned our sprinklers on yet for the season.)
