The neighbors have all been so friendly. Some of the guys came over to help Scott unload the trailer and their wives have brought us homemade bread and cookies over the last few days. Yum!
Landon has already made friends with two boys his age that live by us and the three of them are outside on bikes, digging around all the empty lots, and taking turns going to each other's houses to play Wii all day, every day.
We've already done a few fun shopping trips to get some things to make the house into our home. We've bought a fridge, a tool cart (so Scott can finally get all of his various tool boxes and bags consolidated into one), a computer desk, and tons of decorating and organizing things (gotta love Ikea). Now we're working hard to decide which blinds company to use so we can stop LITERALLY waking up with the sun at 6:00 every morning. I finally taped boxes to the east-facing windows last night. Mostly because that includes our room and Scott got home at 5:30am, just in time to go to bed with the sun in his eyes, if the boxes hadn't been there.
Due to several requests, I'm going to post some pictures of what everything looks like right now, but just know that it's not at all how I'm picturing everything or how it will look once we get more settled. I guess the pictures will serve as a good comparison once I get everything moved in and decorated the way I want. So, what I'm saying is, don't judge me:)
