five years!!!

May 29th of this year marked the 5th anniversary of the day Scott and I got married.

For whatever reason, we never had any of our wedding pictures printed out to hang on the wall- we just have our wedding album with the 5x7 proofs the photographer gave us. So, in honor of our anniversary, I decided to get one of our pictures printed out on a canvas and wrapped around a board, so it looks like a gallery painting instead of just being a picture in a frame. I tried to take some pictures of the finished canvas, but they don't really do it justice. The real life size is 20x30 and with its texture and the way it catches the light, it really is like having a canvas painting from our wedding day. Our neighbors, who own a business called iprint canvas, are the ones that made it for us.
