New Car, New Clothes, New Hair

Well, we've had a few exciting events happen in the past few weeks, so here goes...

The first thing is that we traded in our 2004 Quest for a 2008 model. We loved our old van but LOVE the upgraded one (with it's automated sliding doors, dual TV screens, heated seats, sunroof, rear skylights, leather interior, and back-up camera) even more!!! We feel very spoiled and fortunate every time we ride in it (or even look at it, for that matter).

The next fun thing to happen was that my mother-in-law took the kids on a shopping spree. The boys were in desperate need of church clothes that fit and Hadleigh (with her current obsession with fashion) always feels that she needs new clothes. So, one fun night of shopping later, they're closets are now all stocked where they were once lacking. The pictures below are from the day after shopping, just before church. Everyone is, of course, wearing some of their new things.

The final thing that happened was that I got my hair cut, not short for a change, but with bangs. They are long bangs, but nevertheless a HUGE change for me. I don't tend to take many pictures of myself, but you may notice it in the Disney on Ice post and in future posts that I may turn up in. Mostly, I wanted to acknowledge Laurie for cutting my hair to exactly match the vision I had. I LOVE it and while I am still getting the hang of styling it, I get tons of compliments and am very happy with the change. So, THANK YOU LAURIE!!
