For Christmas, my dad gave our family a gift card to use at nearly any location we chose (it was from giftcards.com) so we opted to use it at Ticketmaster and take the whole family to something fun. Well, the something fun we decided on was Disney on Ice: Mickey and Minnie's Magical Adventure. We went to the show tonight and it was just as fun and magical as we anticipated. They reenacted (on ice skates) abbreviated shows of the Lion King, the Little Mermaid, Lilo & Stitch, and Peter Pan. The costumes and effects were amazing and the skating- especially in the Lion King- was very good, even hair raising at times. I also couldn't get over how everyone's shoes perfectly suited their outfits (like flip flops, converse shoes, pirate boots, Tinkerbell slippers, etc) even though they were actually ice skates. I didn't take a ton of pictures (none of Lion King or Peter Pan since Scott and I were taking turns holding Jack) but you can get a small taste of how cool it was from what I did get.
