Easter, St. George, & Lifehouse/Daughtry

Our camera died right after I took pictures of our Easter eggs, so I haven't been able to get any pictures on our computer for a while. We finally got a new camera last Saturday and had tons of reasons to take pictures this week, so I'm combining everything into one huge post...

EASTER

On the Saturday before Easter Sunday, Scott's parents took us out for a pancake breakfast at a cute hotel in Midway, Utah. The kids got all dressed up in their Easter clothes, the Easter bunny was there and following the breakfast there was a massive egg hunt. Of course, I forgot to bring the camera so all we have are our memories:)

On Easter Sunday, the kids woke up to find their baskets had been filled. Later in the day, some of Scott's family came over and we decorated eggs with this cool Williams-Sonoma kit that my mom sent us.

ST. GEORGE

Earlier this week, the boys and I had an opportunity to go with two of my friends and their kids on a spur the moment trip to St. George. Between the three of us, we had SIX boys ages 1-5. We stayed in a three-bedroom condo that had a pool so we had plenty of space and found a lot of fun things to keep the boys (and ourselves) busy:) We went to the pool every morning and then spent the days going to other places around town- we hiked in the red rocks, went to the splash park at city hall, and went to eat at Pirate Island, among other things.

LIFEHOUSE/DAUGHTRY

Tonight Scott surprised me with tickets to see two bands that I really like - Lifehouse and Daughtry. The concert was great and Scott and I had a really fun time. Thank you to Steve and Brittani for being willing to babysit on such short notice!:)

here's a pic of Lifehouse - it's not zoomed at all so you can see how high up we were:)

Daughtry started out behind a curtain that fell all at once on a loud beat - pretty cool

we asked the girl behind us to take a pic of us with the stage in the background -- the camera was still zoomed in all the way though...oops!

we tried taking one ourselves -- don't mind all my chins:)

For the encore, the Lifehouse guy came back out and sang with Chris

Thanks for an awesome surprise Scott!!
