labor day weekend

This weekend we had a chance to do two things that were unusual for us.

The first is that on Saturday we took the Frontrunner (a fast commuter train) up to Ogden, UT and spent the day in downtown Ogden. We ate at a cute little Greek restaurant and then went to Ogden Union Station, where they have a train museum, a classic car museum, and a gun museum. Of course, the main reason we even went (other than to do something different) was because we knew how much Landon would enjoy it (with how much he loves trains). Unfortunately, on the way up there, we realized that Landon had a really high fever and didn't seem to feel very well. After a short nap during lunch he perked up a little bit during the train museum, but he still was not really himself, which was too bad. Overall, we had a fun time, though.

poor Landon!

Ogden's historic 25th street (where we ate lunch). There were painted horses (each with different name & design) all along the street. Hadleigh was loving it.

Back on the Frontrunner and headed home

The next unique thing we did was that on Monday we were able to see my Grandparents (who live in Texas) and my aunt who just returned from a mission to Argentina. We met them at Red Mango and had a lot of fun visiting and eating yummy frozen yogurt.
