Valentine's Day

Scott has school on Saturday mornings so, with valentine's day being on a Saturday, I thought he would maybe grab some flowers on his way home from class or something and then call it a day. Since I knew we already had dinner reservations at our favorite Greek restaurant, I wasn't really expecting much else. However, when Scott came home he presented me with a 1lb box of Sees chocolates (one of my favorite kinds) and he told me he had hand-picked everything in it. I was not only surprised but very impressed because I do not like "assorted chocolates" since there are always tons of nuts and caramels which are my least favorite. Apparently, Scott has been paying attention!

So, a while after getting them, I finished up what I was doing and decided to indulge in my first chocolate. Imagine my shock when I opened the chocolate box to not only find chocolates but also a small black jewelry box! I have mentioned to Scott a few times that someday when we're rich I want some REAL diamond earrings - 1 carat each, princess cut ones in white gold to be exact. So, inside the little black box were a pair of white gold, princess cut diamond earrings. They are not 1 carat obviously since we are definitely not rich yet but they are BEAUTIFUL. Apparently Scott is really paying attention!!
