We were outside yesterday getting ready to take a walk when I noticed the craziest looking (and biggest) bug I have ever seen crawling from out of our front lawn onto the walkway! So, of course the first thing I did was grab the new camera. Check it out...
I finally figured out what the mystery bug is. It's called a Jerusalem Cricket. Here's a link to more info about it, if your interested. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jerusalem_cricket
Apparently, it's not poisonous but it can give a painful bite!!

That is the weirdest thing I have ever seen! Did you hear Amber's son found a tarantula in the Hertzler's yard! AAHHHH!! I need to move!!
That thing is awesome!!! Debbie told me about it so I had to check it out. Do you think that it would make a good pet?......Perhaps a decent attack bug!!! Hahaha
