First thing in the morning on the 4th, we attended a neighborhood pancake breakfast (put on by our church). There was a kid's bike parade, which Hadleigh and Landon both rode in on their new scooters that they had decorated for the occasion. Also, there were water games (including a local fire truck spraying the kids with its hose), friends, and of course pancakes.

Ultimately, both kids were soaked. After a while, they left the water to eat their pancakes in their wet clothes!
In the afternoon, we had a BBQ at Scott's family's house. Here are a few pics from when we were there.

Later that night, we watched fireworks at Thanksgiving Point with our friends, the Andersons, my mom, and Scott's brother, Steve and sister, Nikki.
