Last week...

Two things happened last week that I wanted to take note of. One is that Jackson turned 6 weeks old on Thursday and the other is that Hadleigh was in the Eagle Mountain Pony Express Days Parade on Saturday.

Jackson is still not sleeping through the night but he does do longer 3-5 hour stretches for what it's worth. He is a lot more alert when he is awake and loves to look around, especially at lights and when he hears voices. He is also holding his head up really well. He is such a chub and is still really sweet tempered. We can't get enough of hugging and kissing him.

Hadleigh was in the parade with her dance school (to advertise the school and the recital they have at the end of June -- Alice in Wonderland, in which Hadleigh's class is going to be frogs). Hadleigh told me on the way to the parade Saturday morning that it was the best day of her whole life because she had never been in a parade before. Three hours later, when the parade finally ended, she was a little less enthusiastic.
